Really enjoyed installing these LONE RIDER - Adventure Motorcycle Equipment lights last night for Cartz Wheels

Showcasing the two beasts next to each other with the freshly fitted LONE RIDER - Adventure Motorcycle Equipment MotoLights!

First time installing them to a Triumph Tiger and they suit the bike incredibly well!

Go check out Cartz Wheels on his YouTube channel for a video he is putting together in a week or so about this install.

Something tells me I am going to see more and more Triumph Tigers in the future….

Quick lighting test before the bike is returned to the customer…

Supplied and fitted the awesome Denali D3 spotlights with hybrid lens fitted. We have wired these in using the awesome DialDim kit so the customer has full customisation of the light intensity as well as tapping into the highbeam trigger so we can use the bike’s original switch gear to operate both the headlight and the new spotlights!

Anyone who knows this paintwork knows it’s a “joy” to work on! A few hours preparing the bike and paintwork today and it’s coming together nicely! Majority of swirls are gone already but one more pass to be 100% satisfied!

Just look at the depth of the plant already (and this is BEFORE the ceramic coating is applied!)

Today’s little project….. explore and play with the new R1300GSA and plan cable routing for the LoneRider MotoLights!

What an amazing and well made bike this is, a true pleasure to work on but WOW a lot of work!

BMW R1250 GSA - Project Blackout

We took this project on a few weeks back with the plan of having a complete transformation on the bike….

Plan of action:

- Supply and fit full Denali Bundle, including the mights D7 Pro light pods and the incredibly loud Soundbomb horn!

- Supply and fit Bark Buster hand guards
- Remove and powercoat all the crash bars to a black colour,
- Remove and hydrodip the rear seat tray and silver side panals in a gloss black finish
- Update the TFT screen with the GS911 tool to give it the sports style and unlock some additional features including sorting the rear tail light configuration.
- Supply and fit bar risers
- Supply and fit new dark taller screen

…And a few other bits as well

Here is the current state of things with a view to complete the Denali install and TFT update today….

Well ladies and gentlemen that’s a wrap for the year!

I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for the support, custom, interactions and the business you have given me over the year, it’s been incredible!

Since opening “Shiny HQ” a little over a year ago it’s been a tough readjustment process full of trials and tribulations as well as new and exciting challenges…

Our installation service has grown hugely and given many customers a one stop shop for their bikes. We can offer and supply and fit many different and exciting products and powerful premium lighting solutions! We are quickly making a name for ourselves as one of the midlands “go to places for motorbike customisation and ceramic coatings!

Finished results of this Honda CBR600F after having the full premium ceramic coating protection using our 5 year coating!

This needed some thorough paint correction before we could apply the ceramic so a good few hours spent sorting that out as well as getting into all the little areas of the bike. The chain and sprockets came up really well and we were used the awesome PTFE chain lube from Motoverde to help prolong and preserve the stunning Gold finish!

Supply and fitted this AWESOME Akrapovic Exhaust System end can for the R1300GSA! Finishes the bikes looks off perfectly well and sounds that little bit deeper!

Second bike of the day was this gorgeous Ninja 650 having the full Premium Ceramic coating protection package.

The paintwork has some slight scuffs and scratches as well as plenty of swirl marks so we needed to see to them before the coating was applied.

We opted for the 4 year Graphene based ceramic coating to provide a strong durable and super slick coating on the paintwork, engine and as much of the bike as possible and it looks fantastic!

- Correct and re-programme S4 aux lights (programming was all wrong)
- Supply and install LoneRider tall bags
- Hydro-Dip rear subframe tray in carbon fibre
- Hydro-Dip radiator side panals in carbon fibre
- Supply and fit SC project exhaust
- Supply and fit LoneRider headlight guard
- Supply and fit Bar risers (up and back)
- Use the GS911 tool to code in some additional features for the TFT and lights

And then to top it all off - we were able to complete a full deep clean and decontamination of the bike along with a 4 year Ceramic coating….

We have blue skies, sunshine and it’s actually a bit warmer today at Shiny HQ….. today is going to be a good day!

Collected earlier today and back with the owner now after a full spa treatment, deep clean and seasonal protection. We used plenty of the awesome XCP Rust Blocker which is our preferred treatment to keep the rust and corrosion (and nasty road salt) away!

This one is a bit special….

This bike is being preserved to go into permanent storage in memory of the rider who unfortunately lost his life to illness.

The wife contacted me to give it a special spruce up and shine and refresh the bike before it is put to rest pride of place in its own shrine.
